Atlas Mountain Race 2027

Fixed route, unsupported, single-stage cycling race through the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. The 1,331km route features gravel, single and double track, and old colonial pistes with approximately 25,000m of elevation gain. Riders have 8 days to complete the route. The race starts in Ouzoud (foothills of the Middle Atlas), crosses the Atlas Mountains, passes through the Anti-Atlas, and finishes in Essaouira on the Atlantic coast. This is a self-reliant bikepacking race with minimal resupply points and requires experience with multi-day off-road trips.
