Galway Gravel Grinder 2026

The Galway Gravel Grinder is a gravel cycling event in scenic West County Galway through forests with gravel trails and quiet back roads mainly around Galway Wind Park. Organized by the Galway Bay Cycling Club since 2017. The event is designed to challenge cyclists of all abilities with three route options: The Epic (125km, 1,800m elevation), The Crush (100km, 1,500m climbs), and The Craic (65km, 800m climbs). Considered one of the premier gravel cycling events in Ireland and a must-do event on the Wild Atlantic Way.
