Ironman of Argentina

The ultimate Ironman challenge in Argentina's San Juan province at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Features a 3.8km swim in the Punta Negra dam, 180km cycling with 745m elevation gain, and a marathon 42.195km run with 207m ascent. The course offers a hilly profile on asphalt through fascinating landscapes including the Valley of the Moon. The climate is extremely arid and sunny, with the famous Zonda wind adding to the challenge.
